How to move product to another category?

The easiest way is to first create the desired categories in the admin dashboard - catalog - categories, and then in the Product Picker from the drop-down menu select the categories in which you will enter products, instead of adding products to replicate categories.

Before you click on a product to add it to the store, select the desired category.


If you have already added products to the store and want to classify them into other categories, you can do so as follows:
For example: If you want to move certain products from the "A-F" category to the "Body" category, you need to go to the admin dashboard-catalog-categories and select the "A-F" category from the Categories menu, and then click in the upper right corner on the Filter button.


Then only products from the "A-F" category will be displayed. Let’s say we want to move these two BODY FRAGRANCE NATURAL SPRAYs to the “Body” category. It is necessary to check the desired products, and then in the Category field from the drop-down menu, choose the "Body" category.



If we have many categories and the desired category is not displayed, it is necessary to type its name above in the search field and then it will appear.


In this way, our products will be in both the "A-F" and "Body" categories, which means that we did not move the products, but copied them.

If we really want to move the products to be only in the "Body" category, we need to click on "-" (minus) in front of the "A-F" category and the products will remain only in the "Body" category. In that way, we successfully transferred them.


When we then select the "Body" category again from the Categories drop-down menu and then click on the Filter button in the upper right corner, BODY FRAGRANCE NATURAL SPRAYs will now appear in the "Body" category, meaning they have been successfully moved.


This way we can move one or more products.
