What are the differences between newsletters?
You have a couple of separate places for the setting up of e-mails for different uses on your website.
1) First is by going to your Admin Dashboard then Email - Templates.
Mails under this option are all basics that users get if, for example, they register on the website and more... We advise that you not change them since they are already set up correctly on your website. In case you wish to change them please only change the text according to your needs but keep the old values (if any in the e-mail template).
2) Second is by going to your Admin Dashboard then Extensions, Extensions, and from drop-down select Modules.
Once the Drop-Down Menu Modules are chosen try to locate two of the following Modules where you can edit the Newsletter:
- Easy Newsletter is that form you saw for subscription and actually, it works via that module, once the customer registers his or her e-mail is going directly into that area. You are after able to edit, remove or set e-mail which is added to the list according to your needs from there. For Easy Newsletter all registered user e-mails which submit will be visible there in the module.
- Automated Newsletter on the other hand enables the system to send pre-made e-mails by you, so if you made a template and schedule it to be sent every day. Automated Newsletters will catch all subscribed e-mails from Easy Newsletter Subscription and send e-mails to them according to settings that you placed in Automated Newsletter. You can set up templates, add scheduled emails, and more under the module options.
